History of the school
The Baptist Mission Tamil School is the only school within the Kekkirava region to provide education through the medium of Tamil . In 1962 , the government took over the school , which was run by the English missionary movement . Tamil and Muslim children were educated in it . The school started functioning on 10.07.1964 with three teachers and seventy three students in a building under the administration of Kekkirava Palliwasal . Today , with 700 students and 40 teachers , students from this school continue their studies every year in arts and commerce sections .
